ST. JOHN PRESCHOOL

St. John Lutheran Preschool is a mission and service of St. John Lutheran Church. Two classes are offered. The two day class is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11 am, and is geared toward children who have two years before they enter kindergarten. The five day class is Monday through Friday from 12:30 to 3 pm, and is geared toward four-year-olds who have one year before kindergarten. St. John is taking part in the Voluntary Preschool Program from the state of Iowa, so four-year-olds have free tuition.

Joyce Martinez is the licensed teacher at St. John's, and has been teaching here since 1989. Her aide is Gina Andresen, who is completing her Child Development Associate Credential.
